I had a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and ensured that my check-in was quick and seamless. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-appointed, with comfortable bedding and thoughtful touches like complimentary water and high-quality toiletries.

The hotel’s amenities exceeded my expectations. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet, which offered a variety of fresh and tasty options. The location was ideal with a beautiful view of the river.

Parking is difficult as there are limited spaces and needs to be rebooked in advance.

Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. I look forward to returning in the future!

- The only highlight is the river views, but the location itself isn't great

- About a 10-minute walk to the Blue Boat House or Kings Park

- A 9-10 minute drive to the CBD
- Quite inconvenient as you'll need to take Uber for most outings

- Paid extra for a river-facing room, but it was underwhelming

- Shampoo and body wash provided, but they aren’t refilled
- Ironing board, iron, and hair dryer available
- A microwave is also included
- No bedroom slippers, bathrobes, or body lotion
- No bottled water provided, which is inconvenient as you need to buy water from a supermarket
- No pen or notepad provided
- Constant door slamming from other guests is disturbing
- Loud music from nearby boat parties every evening

Others:
- No food room service, but you can order from the restaurant and pick it up yourself (they don’t deliver to your room)
- Parking costs AUD 25 per day and must be reserved in advance
- There were fireworks along Matilda Bay during our stay, and we enjoyed them from the balcony
- At check-in, you choose if you want daily room cleaning; otherwise, no cleaning will be done during your stay

I recently stayed at Wonil Hotel Perth - Handwritten Collection and it was an incredible experience. The location was perfect, right on the river, allowing for stunning views. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure all my needs were met throughout my stay.
