New Name Different staff but still a great place to stay. friendly staff on reception, Clean comfy room, King size comfy bed, good hot shower, with a nice selection of tea/ coffee in your room. The only problem for me not enough sugar but that was easy fix they had more at reception. The location is good close to the city and only a shot walk to the cat bus service which is free and takes you into the city.

we stayed here for one night after returning from overseas & attending a specialist appointment located in West Perth the following morning before flying home to a regional town.
the room was very spacious containing a large desk, bar fridge area and wardrobe, single arm chair, with king size bed with bedside tables and lamps. the bed was very soft, complete with quality linen, multiple plush pillows & doona. The bed with the block out curtains guaranteed a great night's sleep! there were multiple conveniently located power points throughout the room was the bed side tables containing further USB/power points.
the ensuite bathroom was also very spacious, complete with a long vanity & conveniently located power point. The shower recess was large with rain shower head. excellent water pressure & temperature.
Julios restaurant is located in the lobby & does amazing dinner & breakfast.
although there was no parking on site, there was plenty of parking around the hotel, offered at a discounted rate (ask at reception).

I had a short stay in this hotel, the staff were polite & helpfull. The hotel was well designed with a mix incorpreating a historic building with modern hotel facilities.
I was delightly suppriaed with the breakfast one of the best full breakfasts I have had in any hotel. If coming to Perth I would highly recomend this hotel

Situated in Hay St, one block from the free CAT bus route to/from the city centre. Welcoming helpful reception staff. Our room, on level 2, was spacious, clean and well furnished. Part of the window was blocked for privacy reasons which made it a tad gloomy by day. I imagine other more expensive rooms on higher floors would have pleasant views. No noise from street or other parts of the hotel.
The attached restaurant, Julio’s, provided delicious dinners at prices lower than the (very few) dinner restaurants in the immediate area. There was a burger bar and small Thai takeaway open for dinners and several others serving breakfast and lunch in Hay St.
Holiday Inn does not have parking on-site but has an arrangement with Wilson car parking for guests to use its Mayfair St carpark, two blocks away. We could not get accurate information either from the Holiday Inn central reservations or from the hotel itself before booking.
Our experience in late September 2022 was that parking at Wilsons is $25 per day with in-and-out privilege, if the ticket is validated for each exit by Holiday Inn and payment is made to the hotel. A 24 hour stay, no in-and-out, direct pay to Wilson costs $15.
Holiday Inn was unaware that the lift at the car park was out of order, and had been for about a week, according to a regular user. Two unfit geriatrics could manage the stairs to and from level 8.
There was on-street parking, ticketed ($4 an hour) from 8am-6pm weekdays, free from 6pm to 8am and on weekends and public holidays.

We have contacted Wilsons regarding the repair to the lift and they have been in contact with the centre management for the building. They are waiting on parts and hope to see this rectified shortly.

A basic hotel, but clean and staff friendly and helpful.
Think hotel was going through renovations while we were there as you had to go across the road to their sister hotel if you wanted food; but you could change it to your room.
It had free parking at the rear of the hotel.
