“A Great Escape to Great Ocean Road Tour and Mornington Peninsula with Bunyip Tours”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2015

Spending almost a month in Australia brought me to different exciting places and absolutely the Great Ocean Road and Mornington Peninsula are part of those. Traveling down to these tourist destinations and seeing spectacular natural wonders are great getaways to experience while in Melbourne.

I joined the tours being offered by Bunyip Tours. It is more convenient to join the tours from Bunyip Tours Melbourne because everything is already in it, such as transportation, lunch, park entrance fees and a driver / tour guide. There was nothing else for me to worry about when I participated at Bunyip Tours because everything was already taken care of.

The tours were fantastic. The tour guides were spirited and very friendly. They were also very accommodating and you’ll see that they were well informed about the tour. Joining Bunyip Tours allowed me to have an unforgettable experiences to discover the beautiful places and natural attractions at the Great Ocean Road and Mornington Peninsula.

“Great ocean road tour”

Do not book with this company!! The bus was so old and uncomfortable and incredibly dirty! We had spider webs all over our windows and bottles and rubbish on the floor from the previous trip! There was hardly any ventilation so the windows were so steamed up you couldn't see out of them! The driver was nice enough but we felt like the whole trip was rushed and he was driving way to fast, probably because he had to get back for a certain time. There were a few stops on the way, none of which were long enough at all! I'm talking about 15-20 minutes then you had to get back on the bus, the lunch stop was worst of all! We had 45 minutes to get and eat a BBQ, go to the loo, go up a lighthouse and view point we were literally running to get it all done which wasn't enjoyable at all! The BBQ was an absolute joke, 2 sausages and some pasta you couldn't even taste!! We even had to eat outside in the rain as there were no seats left inside. I will never be booking a trip with this company again and I suggest you don't either!

“Phillip Island Ultimate Eco Tour w/ upgrade to Guided Range”

The most exciting thing on this tour are the little penguins walking across the beach. They are so cute and their story is really interesting. Our tour guide, Phil, was very informative.
If you can get this tour without lunch, do. The lunch was surrounded by flies. If the animals are out at the sanctuary, you can touch kangaroos and wallabies. Have to pay $15 extra to touch a kola.

“3 Day Great Ocean Road Tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2015

I went on the 3 day Great Ocean Road tour with Simon. He was fantastic to say the least. He was very knowledgeable and made the experience worthwhile! Simon even made us a roast one evening for dinner to truly give us the Aussie experience. He definitely went above and beyond.
The tour was fantastic as well. We hit all the stops and went up into the Grampians for a night. I totally recommend this tour because you get a taste of the Great Ocean road and get to spend some time in the wilderness. Nothing beats the stars at night in the Grampians.

“Great Ocean Road Tour = AMAZING”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2015

What a great day trip. We were only in Melbourne for 4 days so their Great Ocean Road Tour was a perfect way to see all the sights on the Southern Coast without killing too much time. Our tour guide Dale was extremely knowledgable and friendly, and made sure we all got the most out of each stop. We saw koalas, wallabies, fed a few types of birds, and were given plenty of time to explore the 12 Apostles and surrounding geological spectacles. Great tour and run very professionally, would recommend Dale and Bunyip Tours to anyone visting Melbourne.
