After missing the entrance 3x, I finally saw the place and met by friendly staffs. Went to our seat with very ample space in between tables and not crowded.

We went for the “feed me” like we always do. We like to be surprised. We had the satay chicken, pork belly bbq, barramundi, crispy duck, corn and dessert. There is also a good selection of mocktails and cocktails and very happy and helpful staffs.

Bonus, had a picture with the owners Tasia and Gracia, 2016 MKR winners! They were very accommodating and friendly.

We started with a great Negroni. Our afternoon got better thanks to three shared dishes that we enjoyed with jasmine rice. I highly recommend the cuttlefish stuffed with salmon (yes really!), the coconut based curry (opor) with tempeh and vegetables, and the urap (lightly steamed vegetable salad with a peanut sauce dressing). We had to share a dessert because we were stuffed to the gills but I wised that the avocado semifreddo was all mine!

Visited again recently for my birthday and still much favourite restaurant in Melbourne. Had the chicken ribs, soft shell crab bao and fish of the day. All were tasty, fresh and spicy and enjoyable. Service Is friendly, can’t wait to visit again soon.

This is a great addition to the Melbourne food scene. From a warm welcome into a spacious modern dining room we were quickly offered a drink ( yup a Bintang terima kasih!) . The menu looked great - contemporary Balinese with a few twists. Then the food began arriving - seriously good satay ( moist plump chicken thigh with a killer sauce) ; a great rendang with a kick ; excellent rice dishes and a cabbage side that was rich and fresh at the same time.Quality and flavour at a very reasonable price. If I had one minor issue - quite a limited wine list and could do with a couple of better priced reds ( but hey - no different from Seminyak really!) We loved our experience and will be back soon - this timeleaving room for a dessert or two.
