Clean, quiet good sized rooms, comfortable beds, quiet room helpful staff, great location. Plenty of great restaurants and cafes nearby. comfortable beds, quiet room. The food and service in the restaurant weren't very good. Competitive prices if you book well in advance.

Stayed here for a work trip on two seperate nights, a Wednesday and Friday.

The first room I stayed in (109) had a spa bath in the main bedroom and a separate shower and toilet, the room was well appointed with all the usual accoutrements, bathroom toiletries, mini bar, dressing gown etc, the bathroom was a little dated.

The second room on the Friday night (402) was a little smaller, no spa bath, but as well appointed as the first but with two downsides, the first being the gap under the entry door was about 2cm high and let light in from the corridor outside when all the lights were off which was annoying, secondly you could hear the air conditioner/heater either in the room above or next door cycling every 10mins or so and was quite loud even with the bathroom door closed which was where the sound came from.

We were only in Adelaide for a short two night stay. The location of the Chancellor on Currie was perfect fro exploring the restaurants, cafes, bars and lovely laneways in the centre of the city. So close to the Tram Stops too.

The hotel was clean, inviting and very comfortable and all of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Adelaide.

I have stayed in a number of hotels in the CBD but this one stands out to me, it has a great warmly feel and is in a excellent location. The side street access is great for catching Uber's and Taxis as it is easy to enter and exit.
