i have stayed at the Princes Lodge for many years and found it to be very convenient, well priced, and comfortable. it also makes an excellent meeting place for friends and colleagues. I have also held small functions in the dining room with catering provided by the Hotel manager. the food and service was outstanding with great indoor and outdoor photo opportunities. very well located for access to CBD and surrounding suburbs. free parking and internet access makes it a great 'value for money' destination.

Room Tip: excellent views on the eastern side, very quiet at the rear

Gorgeous building, lovely owners. Beautiful breakfast options, very comfortable bed! Unfortunately only got to spend a couple of hours there as my partner ended up in the RAH emergency room until about 5AM. In which case the side door was easily accessible to get to our room and I think we managed to get up there quietly enough. Good prices, value for money. As I work in a hotel myself I'm quite picky but very impressed with Princes Lodge - will definitely continue to come back and recommend to friends and family. Thank you very much to owners/managers for the lovely hospitality.

She was an elegant manor house once converted into a B & B in the 70's and now operating as a motel. The grandeur is still there but with a slightly musty scent of old wool carpet. However the room we stayed in was large, the bed comfortable and the bathroom adequate. Good value for money with the included breakfast. Negatives would be the limited parking, would not want to park my car on the street and the thin walls

Wow! This place is surprisingly affordable when considering the fantastic location (opposite parkland but close to city and walking distance to great restaurants).
The building itself is a beautiful, tastefully preserved Edwardian. Original features such as the grand staircase and have a lovely faded grandeur patina -and it smells good!
The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in, the rooms were enormous and very clean. The hosts were attentive and friendly without being cloying.
Downstairs became slightly noisy in the morning, but this was because of the FREE continental breakfast!
PS. If you love old buildings as I do, stroll around the corner to the wonderful Art Deco cinema and look inside as well.

We spent one night at the Princes Lodge Motel with another couple, and found it to be very homely. John and his wife were very friendly and helpful. The location is great for a stay in Adelaide. Good for off road parking. The rooms are large and had everything you could want.
We had a room with an ensuite on the ground floor (room 8) which had a window, where some rooms don't. Continental breakfast was included.
    We would stay again.
