We ate here prior to seeing a show. It was lovely drinking champagne by the river and eating good food then to just walk 30 seconds to see our show. Parking is limited so google the nearby parking areas.

“Great spot and the food was fantastic”
Reviewed October 2, 2014

Excellent restaurant and the staff were very helpful, we finished our show earlier than expected and they still made sure we didn't have to wait long. They were very busy and there were some mix ups with the wine and meals, but overall recommended and the power house is a great venue as well.

“Dinner before theatre but never again”
Reviewed August 22, 2014

Booked the Watt restaurant for a meal before a play at the Powerhouse. Family and friends - 7 in total. Show was at 7:30 so we arrived at 6:00 giving ourselves plenty of time to eat at a restaurant that has a theatre menu for just such an occasion. After being seated we were left alone for some 15 minutes, eventually having to flag a waiter down to order a meal. It appeared that calling the waiter over was a terrible inconvenience, judging by his expression and mannerisms. We eventually ordered and then things really started to go wrong. We ordered a couple of bottles of wine and got delivered two glasses - wrong, take it back. Two seafood platters were ordered and at $99 a platter one expected a reasonable seafood feast. It was small, the Moreton Bay bugs were tiny, grey in colour and tasteless and to top it off, the prawns were off! We asked for the bill at 7:15 and by 7:25 had to go to the counter to try and understand the delay. After haggling we did get one of the platters taken off the bill. I will not return to this restaurant, ever.

“Very poor customer relations!”
Reviewed July 22, 2014 via mobile

Booked a table on a recent Saturday night for 7.30 pm only to have city cat break down on our way to restaurant. Called ahead to notify them twice to be told no problem. Arrived @ 8.40 pm to be told the kitchen had closed.. 8.45 pm on a Saturday night in a capital city. Was offered a very ordinary bread & a glass of wine. List the use of a $130 seafood tower I had pre ordered & paid for in advance with no form of refund! Pretty ordinary & expensive bread & 2 glasses of wine.. Criminal!! Will never return & advise others to avoid as well!!

“Great spot and great breakfast”
Reviewed June 29, 2014

We travelled a Watt this morning with our dogs for breakfast and the option to walk around the river. We enjoyed the pancakes and salmon, potato rosti's and poached eggs. YUM can't wait to go back. Great location, great food and good coffee.
My only caritas ism would be offer table service believe me you will double your revenue in more coffee, juices etc.
