On a recent holiday from Alice Springs to Uluru, Kings Canyon and return to Alice Springs we used AAT Kings for all of our transportation. The drivers were brilliant - very knowledgeable with their commentary, courteous and on time. The coaches were clean and comfortable.

We really enjoyed this introduction to Alice Springs. It gave us the opportunity to visit some of the main visitor attractions in a short space of time. We very much enjoyed the Royal Flying Doctor Service and School of the Air which are real highlights of Alice Springs. But surprisingly, to us, we found the visit to the Reptile Park also really engaging with the enthusiasm of our host making the visit quite fascinating even though we have visited reptile enclosures at other sites. Very happy to recommend especially for those short of time.

Took two tours with AAT Kings and fully enjoyed them both:
A Town Like Alice Tour
Kata Tjuta, Uluru And Kings Canyon Tour
Fantastic way to see these sights without the hassle of driving and booking accommodation, and the process goes so smoothly.

A comfortable 3.5 hour trip. If you have the time, do it (rather than fly into Yulara Airport) as you get a strong sense of the vastness and uniueness of the Red Centre. Many stops along the way, so toilet and food breaks were not a problem. Bus driver (Terry) was friendly and knowledgeable. Eridunda Roadhouse stop had excellent coffee (who would have thought?!) but extremely busy - be prepared to join a substantial (but very friendly) queue. About 1 hour from Uluru, on Lasseter's Highway) there's a stop to climb a sand dune to see a salt water lake on one side and Mt Conner on the other side of the highway - well worth the climb as its a great photo opportunity! Apparently, many tourists initially think its Uluru. Recommended.

After a flight from Perth and a bit of spare time before a 3 day outback adventure, we took the "A Town Like Alice: Half-Day Tour of Alice" and we were so glad that we did. Our driver (sorry, can't remember your name) collected us from our hotel as scheduled and took us to visit: the Telegraph Station which gave us an insight into the challenges the first European settlers to Alice Springs had to overcome when they set up the station which relayed messages between Darwin and Adelaide for 60 years; the Royal Flying Doctors and the School of the Air which delivers education to children in the outback, both of which operate to this day and the Reptile Centre, with the largest reptile display in the Northern Territory where we got up close to snakes, lizards and a salt water crocodile! The day ended with a perfectly timed visit to Anzac Hill to watch a glorious sunset from the lookout which offers a panoramic view of Alice Springs and the beautiful surrounding ranges. All in all, a brilliant afternoon provided by our very patient and knowledgeable tour guide whose name unfortunately we can't remember but we do know he drove us on the 14th September. So many thanks to you, sir from Christine & Tony Harris
