We had a group lunch with 47 guests at Walsh Bay Kitchen. The food was beautifully prepared and the service was very friendly. They accommodated all different dietary requirements for our guests.
Lyndsey the events and sales manager gave us assistance arranging the menu, table layout and beverage service.
Axel and his team provided dedicated service with food and beverage on the day. They made us feel special and we all had a most enjoyable lunch in an excelent venue.
I would recommend Walsh Bay Kitchen to anyone who is planning a group lunch or function.

Everything was spot-on. Pricing, service, position , staff and of course, the food. Tip, if seeing a show at 8.00pm, book for no later than 6.45pm, and have a relaxed meal or dine here any time. We had entree of Arancini mushrooms, both of us had mains of slow-cooked beef, with a glass of wine and a beer. Pricing was realistic, not over-priced and service was just right, polite , informative when needed, and not in-your-face. Decor clean and inviting. Have eaten here at other times and never been disappointed.

We dined hear before a 7:30 pm play so we arrived at 6 pm. We were shown promptly to our table. Service was attentive throughout. We had the fixed menu that is designed for pre-theatre meals. As a STC member, we received a free glass of bubbly. The menu also included a glass of wine - the house wine was quite drinkable.

The meal was well balanced. For entrees we had a liver pate and a bean, watermelon and zucchini salad. Both were delicious - my salad was fresh and clean on the palate. For mains, my salmon was well complemented by vegetables and lemon; the beef rump was also enjoyed. A good price and efficient service delivered in a timely manner.

A before the theatre meal type of place. Service was fine. There was a 2 and a 3 course set menu including a glass of house wine. So pricing was ok. Had a nice pea and watermelon salad for entree. The slow cooked beef rump for the main was unexceptional. The chocolate "cake" for dessert was very solid.

We ate dinner here prior to a show. The food was ok (nice but not great, a little bland, the salmon I ordered was over-cooked) but the service was really poor. I won't say terrible because the staff all seemed very nice and friendly, but they were very incompetent. We finished mains and starters with 45 min to spare and decided that we had time to share dessert. It took us about 15 min to get a waiter to bring us a menu, and another 10 to place our order (and in both cases we had to flag someone down for this). Dessert did not arrive until 5 min before our show was due to start (40 min after we finished mains). To be clear - this restaurant is situated inside the theatre, everyone eating there was a theatre-goer, so they knew that we needed to be out at a certain time. We wound up asking for our bill before dessert arrived because we knew things would be tight. Neither our bill or the drinks we ordered were brought to us. With 5 min to go, and dessert just placed in front of us (still no drinks), we realised we had to pay and leave. At this point EVERYONE was paying because we all needed to get to the show. Inexplicably they shut down one of the counters, so we all had to queue in one place to pay, panicked that we would miss the start of the show. We wound up being charged for the dessert (which we didn't have time to eat) and the drinks (which never arrived) but they took so long that we didn't have time to dispute the bill (nearly $200!!) - we just had to pay and run.

It was a really stressful way to end the meal, and being forced (out of slow service and incompetence) to pay for food and drinks that we didn't get left a really bitter taste in my mouth. Would not come back.
