I often make a special trip to Allambie Heights to pick up some of their amazing cakes for Dessert. They are the best! Everyone says they have great coffee as well. One day I will not be in too much of a hurry.

I visited the place as its close to my office and the place I wanted to go was close.

When I walked in the place was empty.

The lady at the counter took my order (I noticed everyone working there was Italian), a Caesar Salad and a Garlic Bread. I sat down in a table and the food was quickly delivered to me.

The Caesar salad was not very nice, it had lots of chicken and bacon, but the chicken was cut reaaaaally small and it seems to be boiled chicken, the bacon was not cook to proper crispness, the poached egg was cooked very nicely and it was runny when cut.

The Garlic bread is round shape and they serve it in a nice little metal pan, but it had a lot of green sauce, I couldn't figure out if it was parsley or basil as it tasted very bitter.

Before I left I ordered a Strawberry tart with pastry cream to take away that looked very nice... and it actually very nice.

They have a nice selection of pastas but they looked really heavy for a lunch, maybe I will try one of them if I ever go back.

Popped back to La Crema Lounge today, a small celebration with Miss 5, and I'm so glad we did! The staff are amazing, I asked for recommendations that did not disappoint. Miss 5 had Schnitzel with melted cheese so moorish I had to try more than once, my Pork Belly Salad deserves a grander title of mass proportions as it simply melted in my mouth, well done La Crema, we will be back

Ordered the wagyu burger and noticed the meat pattie was pink. Didn't think too much of it then realised the middle of it was completely raw.

This is absolutely disgusting. Learn how to cook meat properly before you make people sick.

Dear Warszawiak03,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I would like to apologize first and foremost for your negative experience with us and agree that it is not acceptable to have a burger patty that is raw in the centre. I will be thoroughly investigating your situation as to how you were served an under cooked burger, and ensuring that our team immediately revisits their food safety education on the proper core serving temperatures to ensure the burgers are cooked and served as per our guidelines. We take a lot of pride in sourcing the highest quality ingredients including the Angus beef that is minced daily for our burger patties.
I would also like to extend an invitation for you to contact me via e-mail at your convenience with your details so I can contact you directly to have the opportunity to provide you a positive experience with us at your convenience.

Kind Regards
Jodi Stevenson
