Nothing special about the food - the same quality you get in local cheap Chinese cafes. The dumplings dont seem fresh - perhaps a lot are factory made
Indifferent staff - expensive for the mediocre standard.

This is a vast space, with good room between tables. The service starts off being attentive, but then the waiters all seem to disappear and it becomes difficult to obtain water, glasses or wine. The food was very good - the duck san chow bow and the salt and pepper prawns and calamari were stand out dishes. There was a group of us having one of the banquets, and there was plenty of food - no fighting over the last prawn. Least notable dish was the fried rice which was too bland. Lots of families. We would go back.

It is our 4th visit here and this restaurant has greatly deteriorated in terms of food quality and service. Tea is priced at $2.50 per person and not per pot. Their items has no prices on them nor a menu available to browse. When you ask questions, the staff act confused and won't respond in English (we are in Australia). We had 5 orders of dimsum, a small order of fried rice, and a rubbery, inedible peking duck, and 3 cokes, all at $95. Quite expensive for a below average dining experience. Hot foods are served cold. Servers are unpleasant and unhappy when asked for condiments that should be readily available in their food trolleys. No service water was served. Disappointing dining experience. Definitely not coming back. I'll stick to South Juniors' Yum Cha thank you.

Completely rubbish. I'm a former airline Chef and have been to a number of yum cha restaurants. In this one no prices are on the items and we asked, they act confused. We were just surprised that our order of only
7 dim sum and 3 cokes totalled to $100.
Didn't have Chinese tea as I know they charge per person and not per pot. Tea used to be free or still is, for the Chinese community.
NSW government should look into this bad practice as it's daylight robbery and total rip off. I don't see this in sushi trains as their price are clearly marked and so with South Juniors' yum cha. Stick to your local, honest yum cha restaurants and stay away from this one if you want value for money.
