Good location, frequent buses and close to train station and easy check in/check out. But definitely should not have three stars!
The room was very very small and quite grubby, no wardrobe or any clothes space so had to live out of a suitcase, that was also solo! The window was blocked by some bars and was not able to open. TV was hanging off the wall... The rooms were barely cleaned by cleaners and floor was never hoovered once. The laundry room was always out of service so unable to use. The bathroom was ridiculous and the water from the shower filled the whole bathroom and the floor was constantly wet from showering everyday.
It was okay- a place to sleep when you are travelling but wouldn't stay again, especially with the price, not really very budget for what you get.

We stay here 6 to 12 times a year and have been doing this for around the last 4 years. They go out of their way to make us feel welcome and we are very comfortable with the price versus the ammenities. Great location. We can always find somewhere secure to park between 6pm and 8am. This hotel suits our inner city needs

Great location staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms and amenities clean. Was a comfortable nights sleep. Even being on William street the noise level was minimum. Location was close to a lot of cafe and the main st of the Cross.

There's lots to like about The Ibis.

Patient and helpful Ibis workers made a difference to how I got through those challenging days.
Late night check-in & very early morning checkout easy due to 24 hour reception.
Plain simple consistent $10 optional breakfast offerings suited me as I didn't need to think too hard early morning.
Short walk to everytning I needed: St Vincent's Hospital precincts; medical services; buses & trains; all types of eateries; and an excellent fresh produce mini-mart.
What you see is what you get. Value.
I'll be returning to Sydney soon and I'd stay with Ibis again ... if they'll have me back?
