Came here with a Groupon voucher and not disappointed.
Food was plentiful, fresh and very tasty - unlike food in Cuba.
I do agree with other reviews in that it was not worth alleged full price as stated in the deal.
Staff were very efficient and pleasant.
Only negative was the smell of the shared toilets.
Would definitely return with a group of friends

Went to the Cuban place for a few birthday drinks. We had to go downstairs to the rnb section as the upstairs was completely full. The downstairs section had limited cocktail selection and a bit overpriced. I ordered a mojito which it didn’t taste like it had any alcohol in it. On my next drink we had to tell the bar tender to make it strong which he did however it was full of tequila and that’s all you could taste. I’m not sure if they know how to get the balance right. They have sand on the floor so to anyone wearing open toe shoes be aware of this it’s ok but a bit annoying. The dj was good but as it’s a small place and the music is blasting it’s very hard to talk.

We went here for dinner with a 50% discount voucher obtained through a 3rd party site. The food is ok, but a little on the pricey side and we would not have come if we didn't have the 50% off voucher. There were more negatives than positive though:

1) the inside is dark and gloomy. Dark to the extent it will be an effort to read your menu if you don't have good eyesight. There was an elderly couple sitting at the table next to us who were really struggling to read the menu, even with their smartphone torches turned on. Not sure the darkness is intentional (as quite a few bulbs were off) but it is not ideal
2) The service is a little uncoordinated and not uniform. One waitress was efficient but we were served a stingy 40-50 ml of tap water in our glasses by another waitress
3) The wooden chairs are heavy and have a horizontal wooden bar which hurt both our ankles
4) There is a surcharge to pay by credit card

I will not return.

The place opened at 5 pm and had a happy hour with $8 mojitos, so we had a few of those whilst the place quickly filled up.
There was music in the background and sometimes there is a band
