Yep, it’s a dark place but beautiful dark, ambient is great with so many details in the decorations, you get transported to another city. Excellent coffee and cakes with a big variety.

People who like to eat vegetarian/vegan food should enjoy this cafe as you will actually get some real choice in what you eat. I particularly enjoyed the Buddha Bowl which was tasty with plenty of variety in the dish. We dined on a Saturday evening and were treated to some local entertainment.

Fabulous service with engaged and attentive staff. Thank you for that experience guys.
We had 5 different offerings with success on all, Buddha bowls, pizza, nachos and gluten free. Loved it!
The atmosphere is dark, medieval and with exceptional furniture and comfort areas for relaxation.. Loved the leadlight, furnishings and the journey back to a time only in our imaginations.
The friendly staff allowed us to laugh loudly, stay longer and absolutely enjoy our experience. Hosting a 'Murder' in May and we will be there......
The best thing here is the service, the attitude of staff and the invitation to really enjoy what Dark Arts has created.Thank you so much.....wish you well.

This place reminds me of some of the coffee shops around Brunswick in Melbourne; quirky, a bit Gothic, great service, great coffee. Very laid back. Food is consistently good. It may be hidden away in a back street but it has gained a big reputation among the locals and deservedly so.
