Room are big and cozy , wonderful view, total privacy. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Facilities is ok. 3 restaurant with wide variety of foods. In villa dinning is a must to try as the experience is wonderful
Family and I visited Montigo. My first impression was that the finishing and furnishing was not as top-notch as the marketing made them out to be but nonetheless this was a decent hotel to spend a weekend getaway. Each unit comes with a small infinity-style pool and a rooftop area. There was also a well-stocked up complimentary minibar with great chips. I would imagine this place would be perfect for groups of friends.
Restaurant served decent cocktails and one could relax with the drink in hand and enjoy the sea breeze. All in all, a decent albeit pricey hotel by Batam's standards

SUMMARY
An excellent experience. From the moment I arrived till the moment I left, everything was smooth and perfect. Room, facilities, food, experiences, etc were all great. I only had time for 2D1N and honestly, that was not enough to do everything they have to offer. So yeah, they do make you feel like coming back again
OVERVIEW
Montigo is a private resorts which offers many sort of pampering treatments to guests of all ages. I would highly recommend this place for families for a quick getaway, friends who love to have fun together, even for couples who are still lovey-dovey especially honeymoon period. Once you past that honeymoon period, things change... wait, focus focus! So yeah, I can totally understand why they are regarded as no 1 resort in Batam.
ROOM
I had a Hillside Villa with 2 rooms and a private swimming pool. The 1st floor has a bathroom and a huge living room with kitchen. The living room is connected to the pool through a sliding glass doors. The bedrooms are located in the 2nd floor. Master bedroom has a King Size bed facing the ocean and a huge bathroom behind with bathtub. Another bedroom has 2 Single beds with its own bathroom and the same ocean view.
FOOD
There are three restaurants here: Tadd's all-day dining, Pantai Restaurant, and Tiigo Beach Club. I tried all of them and came out with very satisfied belly. The Pantai Restaurant in particular, is a hidden gem that serves fantastic seafood dishes. I highly recommend ordering the Steamed Fish Nyonya Style and Golden Pumpkin Calamari
FACILITIES
Montigo got you covered really! Obviously buggy service is free for guests. Here are some more:
- 2 public pools, the one at Tiigo Beach Club has excellent view
- awesome kids club which boasts 2 floors full of activities
- Spa
- Gym (I didn't come here to work out! hahaha)
- Activities for all ages such as face painting, water sports, cooking class, fishing trip, and most importantly, babysitting! I could let them have my headaches for a while. hahahaa
- And many more...
SERVICE
All the staff at Montigo went above and beyond to make sure my family had a good time. From reception, to buggy team, to F&B team, Kids club personnel, and even the marketing team. Most memorable moment was when they did a surprise for my 3-year old son who had a birthday there. They got us when we were at Kids Club! Kudos to you guys

Highly recommend this resort for anyone who wants a getaway.The Western restaurant was great! The room was well furnished and a luxury to stay in. Our balcony view that faces the sea is a sight to behold. Last but not least, service standard is top notch. You can't find anything to fault this resort

Every service was slow.
Sewage smell was so bad in bathroom.
Water pressure was not enough.
All staffs treated us very friendly.
Music was too laud in restaurant.
Ants were every where.
