Family group spent a beautiful sunny day tubing and picnic.... was brilliant but be prepared for bug bites and some spotty areas where you have to manoeuvre around trees and branches in water. Lost my good sunglasses so dont bring anything of value!! Other than that, lovely sunshine and lotsa laughs! Well worth it! Its a bit of a-trek also, takes a while....

An excellent summer activity for young and old. Float down the river at your own pace, tie up with your party or float alone, take your cooler with you for snacks and beverages. The water is on an average about 3 feet deep so great for kids! Great for the Grandparents too! My only complaint is, would be nice to have some picnic tables set up at the beach where the bathroom stop is. Other than that a great day at a great price!

This is a little secret in Chelmsford....It is the best day spent on the water tubing down the river at your leisure....Bus ride to the beach, tubes and life jacket supplied....All you need is your lunch and great company and enjoy the day on the water.
