This is a little secret in Chelmsford....It is the best day spent on the water tubing down the river at your leisure....Bus ride to the beach, tubes and life jacket supplied....All you need is your lunch and great company and enjoy the day on the water.

It was a spectacular lazy river ride. We drove from 4 hours away and arrived at noon. We ate a quick lunch that we had packed and then boarded the bus for the start of our ride. We had reserved our tubes so Grammy & Grampy each had our own tubes as well as our 3 Grandsons age 12, 9, 6. It was +33 degrees when we went but you didn't feel the heat on the river. It was perfect and the water so clear and shallow. The boys were jumping on and off the tubes just having a blast. I would recommend this for a family outing, couples getaway, girls weekend or just a fun time. We will definitely be back.

This is a nice way to spend an afternoon But, it can be a bit of a workout. Here are a few tips and I think some of the other reviews mention them also.
Bring Food, snack,drinks as it is a all day in the sun. Plan a lunch on a beach!
Get a cooler tube to carry your stuff (food, drinks etc)
Sun screen or cover up, it's 3-4 hours of being in the sun.
You have to paddle around tree stumps a lot so it's a little physical.
Put your phone in a sealed plastic bag, I did and I dropped it in the water.
If your with others, don't tether yourselves together, it's too hard to paddle.
