A place to disconnect to the world and reconnect with those who matter!
The 1500 pesos villa is amazing deal complete with marble bathroom...
Food is very cheap! Tapsi for 65 pesos serve in your balcony? Or lapu lapu for 70? How about your pancit for 70 as well?
Ask your meal to be serve in your veranda..

This place is quite, with relaxing view. You ca see the stunning mountain of Mt.Guiting-Guiting while on the other side is the sea view. They are some animals here like monkeys, talking bird, nice dogs.

It really is a sanctuary for tired mind, body and yes even soul. It will surely relax your mind because of the greeneries that surrounds you, it will soothe every aching part of your body as you breath the freshest air, and it will provide you the golden time to heal your soul because of the serene ambiance that makes you want to shut your mind & mouth and just meditate.

The rooms are ok, simple. With tv but no wifi in rooms just on the resto.

The restaurant is very good. The food we tried we're all delicious!

Will surely be back.

The resort is excellent and the owner, Edgar, is a great host. For the price this is one of the top resorts in the Philippines. The resort is not on the beach and Sibuyan does not really have any good beaches, but the resort has a wonderful river swimming spot.
Sibuyan is a remote island and can be really difficult to get to. Traveling there is not suitable for rolling bags, backpacks are a must. When we went there, taking the pump boat from Romblon, that boat was broken and a reserve boat could not go all the way because of the waves. We got dumped on an extremely remote beach, wading to get ashore. If Edgar had not figured out that this was going on, we would have been stuck. That in itself may not be a big deal but after a long trip on buses and boats an issue like this can be quite painful. The best way to get to/from Sibuyan is by the big boat from Batangas that arrives to Romblon or the once a week big boat going all the way to Cajidiocan. Of those two the Cadijidocan-Batangas route is the best.
Remember that Sibuyan has a big volcano that attracts rain and so rainy season does not end for sure until February. December weather varies wildly.

Room tip: The free standing bungalows are clean and wonderful.

I love this hotel. It is the best place we stayed in during our travels in the Philippines. Spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms. Divine garden to explore and stroll around. A natural swimming hole big enough for a good swim and deep enough to jump in. Great value restaurant with plenty of choice. Wonderful and great value in-room massages. Super friendly and helpful staff. I can't recommend Sanctuary Garden highly enough. It's lovingly looked after and the owners and staff have got it all so right. Everything a traveller could possibly want for a retreat on Sibuyan Island.

Room tip: There are a variety of cottages and rooms to suit your budget, and the restaurant and facilities are all at very backpacker friendly prices.
