This is a great restaurant and pizzeria but also has guest rooms above the restaurant. The food and service is excellent. This rooms had been recently updated and place you in the heart of this charming Italian contrada. It really is the center of town...just open the windows and see children off to school or villagers wandering into town for various festivities. The sound of the birds reminds you how centered in the Valley you are. Tiny bathrooms but this is pretty normal in Italian hotels.

We visit this restaurant whenever we are in Seren. The pizza is big and incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and the ambience attracts you. The decor is old fashioned and you have the feeling the time has been turned back. The service is friendly and helpful. You should keep in mind that the restaurant is also well visited during the week and i would recommend to make a reservation.

Amazing pizzas with a very thin base, all the better for getting the best taste out of the topping ingredients. You get to choose exactly what you want on your pizza from the base, cheese, vegetables, meats, fish, herbs, spices, the list is very comprehensive. And the end result is so good.

If pizza is not your thing the there are also local dishes from the region on the menu, all made with fresh seasonal ingredients.

The dessert menu is also very good, plenty of choices to suit all tastes.

The restaurant itself has a comfortable rustic feel, lots of artifacts and attention to detail. A lot of work has gone into giving it the right authentic feel.

Locanda al Cacciatore is very popular with the locals, which is a testament to just how good the food is.

Great pizza...very thin as I like it, different from pizzas in other parts of Italy. You can build your pizza from scratch, choosing the kind of basis, kind of cheese and all of the toppings.
...And make sure to save some space for their pistacchio dessert!

The food here is as good as any top rated restaurant yet is in a tiny village set Ina beautiful setting. It's worth a detour. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We felt like family guests even though we just met. Highly recommended.
