“A must visit for inner city bushland”

Currawong Bush Park
Reviewed 10 March 2017

This is a hidden gem and well worth a visit. Set amongst Doncaster East bush, you can chose between the two car parks. The first carpark is further away from all the fun stuff so if you're time poor, park in the second one.
You are pretty much assured of seeing wildlife such as Kangaroos or Wallabies, Cockatoos and the occasional echidna. Birds are everywhere. Beware of snakes. Never seen one but on hot summer days - just be cautious.
Nowhere to get food here. Wheelchair friendly.

Fantastic spot that's right in suburbia in Doncaster East. You have options of 2 car parks. The 2nd car takes you closer to points of interest. This great wildlife area gives you chance of seeing Echindas, kangaroos, birdlife, koalas and much more if your lucky. Lots of kangaroos especially. Features a great play area and sculptures. Lovely picnic areas. Love this spot.
