Saji is really een outstanding and warm person. He is a good responsible driver. His communication skills are above average and his knowledge of Sri Lanka is more than you can expect. Saji gives good advice and brings you to places other toerists won't see.

Thank you Saji, we couldn't ask for more.

We had the opportunity to see Saji at work during our 6 days stay in his father's comfortable hotel. Mihintale can be used as a basis for touring the cultural part of inner Sri Lanka, Anuradhapura, to start with, a sacred city with temples and monuments scattered in a vast area. He has a program for that, as for Sigirija and Polonnaruwa, and the Country.
You can also use his skill just to pick you up somewhere and drop to the hotel.
Yesterday we went to Wilpattu National Park in his super clean recent model Toyota to the gate; then in a rangers' four wheel drive vehicle. And he was with us, during the visit, spotting birds, iguanas, wildboars, bears, etc.
I recommend him and his quality service.

Saji owns his own top of the range car , so you travel in style and comfort for a very competitive price. He arranges a tailor made tour for you and checks that you are happy with every detail before you set off. Saji has a lovely genteel manner and is attentive to your every need.He is an immaculate driver and puts the safety and well being of his passengers as his main priority. He is very courteous and thougthful and makes sure you have tickets and guides if needed, accompanying you on many of he visits, sharing information.
He regularly phones ahead to check out your accommodation and his planned itineraries include everything you have asked for plus lots more .Saji's main concern is to make sure you are happy. We had lots of fun and learned loads with him about Sri Lanka on our 6 days tour. So lucky to have found such a nice guy.

Great tour of Anuradhapura during our stay at Saji Sami. Very informative tour, and ask for Neel as your tour guide, he was amazing.

My wife and I used Saji Tours over a number of days, collection and drop off from Anuradhapura Rail Station when we arrived and left, a full-day trip to look at Anuradhapura, a full day-trip to Polonnaruwa and then to take us to Sigeria then onto the Dambulla caves and then down and onto Kandy. Throughout he was polite, courteous, he drove carefully, helped when asked and knew all the little eating and craft places that could be visited on the way to and back from the main attractions. He is a very nice, careful and thoughtful guide.

His car is clean and well maintained: has excellent and well-functioning air conditioning and the car is comfortable enough to snooze quietly in the back of.

On the way to and from Polonnaruwa he stopped and looked for elephants by the roadside (and we saw many) on several different occasions and took us to a wonderful place for lunch - Jaga - which is well worth a diversion to.

I can't finish this without saying that he also took us way off the tourist trail to two places near Mihintale that quite clearly are used for and by locals. The first - the Black Pond - was during a festival so we were surrounded by local people meditating which curtailed what we could see but it was very unique seeing a special place being used so extensively by local people as it was intended to be used. As for the second - I have no idea what it was called but we were the only ones there and needed the permission of the resident Monks to go up. A very nice and fantastic extra thrown in because he wants to show you his local area.

Great guy and great to be with.......
