We stay in two rented big houses three days from 9 to 11 January 2020 for a wedding ceremony. Two very nice and big houses, the rooms had plenty of space, clean and quiet with aircon. Cable tv and a big kitchen.

By it's appearance you would expect this hotel to be 5 stars and by reading about the facilities they offer you would certainly expect a 5 star rating. Unfortunately, this is not the case. This hotel has the potential to be a 5 star resort hotel, however lacks the quality and finesse that you would expect. There is no Bar! The food menu is very limited and serves poor quality food, (This should be a fine dinning experience, to go with the beautiful views). There is no wine list! They only serve wine by the glass, which is a very poor wine selection. If you bring your own wine, the have the audacity to charge you corkage. The rooms were not maintained well. The TV/ Cable did not function well. You would expect for the price you pay to have complimentary water in the rooms. They insist that woman and female children to wear a swimming cap and then charge you for the rent of them. Their reason is that hair might get into the pool!. What a big shame. They only need to make some easy fixed solutions to make this a 5 star residence. Would not stay there again.

This is the third time we’re going to canyon woods. First two times were with my family but now I went with my boyfriend for a bit of celebration hehe. Commute to the hotel was quite confusing but we safely got here. The staff were accommodating and professional and most the facilities are now improved. We never got bored throughout our stay and we just roamed around enjoying what they offered, goofing around and just talking about a lot of stuff. We may not have the most romantic date but i really felt like we’ve grown much closer to each other.

This place will always be our place… my place to unwind and just chill. And we will always be happy to go back.

The hotel and the amenities are great but the food sucks. Time to replace the cook or have another restaurant at the premises. One time I ordered food for take out and their rice is like "lugaw". Having 2 restaurants at the premises provide more choices for their customers.

Definitely the hotel business model is great, a hotel with residential ownership with cool weather and near tagaytay should be a great vacation stay, but after more than 20 years of operations it became a has been. The rooms are dated and the entire hotel is also dated, the gym equipment are old and dirty. The breakfast have a few choices with sunny side up and scrambled eggs are two of them. the breakfast is not in the same hotel and you would need to walk outside the building to the club house to eat breakfast an if you wait for a shuttle bus, it will take 10-15 minutes to wait.
Maintenance of the room is poor and they just replace the towels but does not disinfect and generally clean the toilet, we checked out 1 day ahead coz the kids starting to get sick. Only 1 elevator is working and it take 5 minutes to wait by the time we checked out, the elevator is still not working. There is no hotel WiFi in the room and only available in the lobby that has a few chairs and tables. Most of the cabin house in the area is unmaintained and close. The convenience store inside the hotel has almost nothing to sell. I checked the golf area and its under repair, could not be used. Overall, you can spend a little more money looking for a better hotel elsewhere. By the way, Dont use GoogleMaps in finding the place, there are two Canyon woods resort club in GoogleMaps, dont turn going to San Gregorio Elem School instead go straight to Diokno Hiway
