This is (also) a must-visit when you are in Gran Canaria (I will recommend everyone travelling to the island, to rent a car). This park is located in the middle of nowhere.
The park is great and the shows are spectacular. I would have given the 5 star-rating, but because I have been to Loro Parque in Tenerife, I really can see the difference between these two places. But it is really worth a visit to go to Palmitos Park.

Thank Peter B

Had a lovely day here, although if your children are tall take passport to prove age....I'd booked online and missed this info and had to pay difference as daughter was taller than they expect a 10 yr old to be...
Birds of prey free flying show was very impressive and informative highlight of our day...
Butterfly house was lovely and the orchid house too...
Dolphin show was a great hit aswell !

Local buses stop and collect from outside the park making transfers to and from easy.
Although bus going did not turn up .....so jumped in taxi thinking can't be that far was shocked to discover it was quite a distance and cost €13 ouch ... bus back only €1.70 each in comparison so check local bus times etc as to not make mistake we did...

We went there as a group of 8 people and all of us liked the park. The price is not expensive, also not cheap. You can see there all kinds of parrots, orchids, butterflies and other animals. We visited birds of prey and tropical bird show were birds were flying on their own and the view was breathtaking. Also there is dolphin show. The animals are kept under good conditions. I really think it’s the best way to spend whole day.
All in all I recommend to visit this place no matter what.

Not too big and well organized so you do not have to navigate once you are there. One way and that's it. Parrot show, predator birds show and dolphin show were very nice. Nice day with a small child.
