Found this a very nice complex in a lovely area. Staff were very helpful and the rooms were good. Buffet food was just average but I usually find that with all inclusive. The complex including rooms were very clean and its a short walk to the lovely beach area of Meloneras.

We were a party of eight, and had three different rooms/apartments. Two had no sun at all and the view was over the road. The last apartment had good view and sun conditions, but it was close to the bar so the music was constant. The receptionist was very little serviceminded and the 'welcome' we got was up to 'Fawulty Towers' standard. The cleaning is fine. The pools are fine. The shop at the hotel is expensive and we couldn't find a supermarket close by. To gey access to the TV set you have to pay a deposit for the remote control! Actually they claim deposits for the safe, bath towels etc. The wifi is expensive and of low quality. All in all I don't think this is a four star place.

It felt like time stopped last millennium a part from the fact that both the hotel and the primary guests had aged.

The target group seemed to be 60+ year old Germans and the decor was well used and very turn of the millennium ish.

We were at caybeach melonoras for a week with our five year old child with full board. And it did not match our expectations.

It seemed like an ok place to use as a base for excursions, but do skip the buffet and do not have to high expectations. .

Stayed here for 10 days self catering. Was a little nervous after reading other reviews however the staff were really friendly and helpful. The complex was clean and tidy, we had a ground floor apartment which had a large lounge , kitchen and dining area, the bedroom was a little small compared to the rest of the apartment. The safe in the bedroom is great if you are 6' tall but my husband in 5'7 and had to stand on the chair to see inside!!! After reading reviews before we went we expected a short walk to the bars and restaurants however it was a lot further than anticipated and we found it rather expensive and limited number of restauranrs compared to other Canary Islands we have been to. The whole resort is bearded to German tourists. The poolside bar is great they have entertainment most nights and the staff are really polite and helpful they work really hard.

We stayed here for 10 days on a self catering basis, my husband, myself and teenage daughter. We booked a duplex apartment which was ideal.
Downstairs apartment has kitchen area, living room, bedroom with two single beds and bathroom, also has outside patio area with table and chairs.
Upstairs has two single beds, bathroom and balcony with table and chairs.
Both apartments have air conditioning are spacious and clean, TV in both if you want it (although you do have to pay 6 euros for the control which you get back when you leave).
The kitchen has two ring hob, kettle (not electric), toaster, fridge and microwave (also fridge in apartment upstairs with electric kettle) Plenty of cupboards, cutlery, plates glasses etc and there is a separate outside area downstairs where you can hang wet clothes to dry.
Both apartments have a safe which you pay for a key but you do get some money back when you leave. and we asked for an extra door key which again you pay for but get back when you leave.
Apartments were cleaned 8 out of the 10 days.
Caybeach has three main pools and one child pool and joy of joy there was always plenty of sunbeds at all times of the day.
We were self catering so can't speak for the restaurant but we ate twice at the pool bar which was fine cheap and cheerful but tasty and staff lovely really interacting with the guests.
There was some entertainment here in the evenings but we tended to go out.
There is a gym (free) which my husband used which was OK and you can book spa treatments if you want at an extra cost.
All surrounding areas and pools were clean and well kept and there is a life guard at the pool.
Reception staff efficient if at times a bit brusk.
We arrived late around 10pm and there is nowhere within the complex to eat at that time so luckily we had some sandwiches with us and was able to buy water at reception.
We had a late checkout and although we couldn't stay in our room there is a locked room at reception where you can leave your cases and could get a shower in the gym changing rooms. Also lockers there for 2 euros.
There is a wifi machine at reception 20 euros for 7 days a futher 10 euros for the extra three days, however we were there with a teenager and it was worth every penny and it worked throughout the complex, she did not complain once so it must have been good!!!
Small shop is absolutely fine for what you may need, but there are plenty of small supermarkets in the area which are probaly a bit cheaper.
10 min walk to Meloneras where there are a few restaurants and bars although we did find this a bit more pricey than Maspalomas but our favourite restaurant was here called Ciao Ciao food lovely and staff very friendly.
Don't bother with Meloneras beach though, we went here and it cost us quite a bit for the sunbeds and we couldn't get into the water because it is really stoney better off going to Maspalomas or Playa del Ingles.
We tended to go into Maspalomas for something to eat, cost 3 euros in taxi plenty of restaurants with different cuisines, and plenty of shops.
Taxi to Aqua Land 7 Euros, taxi to Palmitos Park 20 euros and taxi to Playa del Ingles 7 euros each way.
We would most definately go back.
