The temple was made by Malla King Durjoy Sinha on 1694. It is made of bricks. You can see Radha-Krishna idols inside the temple. Natmandir and Tulsi mancha also present inside the premises.

This temple is located in a remote part of Bishnupur town and it takes some time to reach here. Your guide might be reluctant to go here, so insist on it.

The temple is one of the most beautiful ones in Bishnupur. It's design is traditional Bangla style with a rounded roof. It's a working temple and is usually quite busy - when we were here, there was a bhog and many people were having prasad. The terracotta walls of this temple are very beautiful - covered with carvings, statues and reliefs depicting the Hindu mythology, life of Krishna, etc.

Lord Krishna and other deities are still worshipped in parts of this temple (though we found the gates closed in the afternoon). The premises are clean and well maintained.

We visited Bishnupur on 21 Jan 2017 (Saturday) from Kolkata and we visited this temple as the first one. This temple is situated on a different part than the most of other temples situated like Raasmancha, Jorbangla temple etc.
Lord Radha Keishna is worshipped in this temple till date and you can give puja, provided the temple is open. Just outside the temple, there are lot many shops selling terracota items like Horshes, Idols etc. The temple is big enough, spread out and have terracota design carvings on the walls. Esoecially see the delicate designes carved near the corners of the temple. Another fact to tell you- just outside the temple there is a big tree whose trunk has a formation and people have put vermilion on it to give it a face of lord Ganesha.
