“Birdwatcher's paradise”
Review of Kanjli Wetlands

Kanjli Wetlands
Reviewed 8 September 2015

Kanjli wetlands are situated about 4 kms from city of Kapurthala. It is situated on the banks of Kali Baein (Water Stream). Migrating birds from faraway places can be seen chirping on high trees during Winters. The wetlands cover large stretch of area on the banks of stream including Villa Kothi, the residence of Maharaja of princely state of Kapurthala. But sadly no government or district ruler has paid attention towards deteriorating condition of this lovely place which was a wonderful picnic spot long time back when we use to go there for boating and bird-watch.
