Well worth a visit. We have been to Vilamoura several times and not seen it before but spent a very interesting hour or so wandering round the ruins and exhibition.

Only a short stroll from the marina and you are transported back in time to the roman empire and these fantastic remains are worth a visit and only 3€

Arrived at 11.45 - didn't realise they close at 12.30 - 2pm for lunch - 3€ each and enough time to potter around the lovely site without rushing. Staff very friendly. Map provided but most of the areas are described and artists impression give an idea of how things would have been. Backs onto the new marina area which is amazing to believe that all of those buildings are built on silted up land as the ruins had their own port and sea access. Amazing to see the ancient ruins again a backdrop of a modern town. Value for money and a lovely, tranquil place to visit.

I don't really have a lot to say about it, other than its worth a visit. The artists illustrations really helped the kids to envisage what it really looked like all those years ago.
