Description: Brasserie First nu al een begrip in Midden Nederland. Brasserie First biedt diverse mogelijkheden. First biedt het allemaal.

On business In zeist and Brasserie First was recommended . What a great experience . So friendly and welcoming . No menu but a great choice of fresh seasonal ingredients superbly presented and full of flavour - so accommodating of personal preferences. Will be a regular visitor and this is quality dining at a fair price . Loved it thank you Monique and crew

My husband and I go to First for dinner several times a year. It's a gorgeous restaurant owned by the loveliest couple, John and Monique, and everything is perfectly thought out, from the decor to the wines to the food itself.

You just need to tell Monique how many courses you'd like and if you have any dietary restrictions, then sit back and be wowed. John is the chef, and he's innovative and meticulous. The food is delicious and every time we're there, something new surprises us!

Try asking for John shrimp dish for your fish course, it's really magical. :)

I highly recommend this restaurant, you won't be disappointed!

We had an excellent 3-course dinner, albeit on a 2 for 1 ticket. The food is probably the best I have had thusfar in Zeist, maybe only surpassed by the former chef in Kasteel Kerckebosch.
The recommended wine choices by the maitre-d were excellent.
The setting is friendly and cozy, the restaurant does not have that many tables, we made reservations well in advance. Pricy, but on a 2 for 1 ticket more than worth it's money. The location is a little off, but in reasonable walking distance from the town's center.
Highly recommened.

I went here on a business trip with 5 people for lunch. The weather was great so we were sitting outside. Lunch was fab! We started with an amuse, followed by a fish plate and the 2nd round was a meat plate. Flavours and taste were nicely balanced and the staff was really friendly.

My cousin and I came to eat here last night after consulting TripAdvisor. We could not have made a better choice. As we are both from South Africa, we had the chance to drink one of their wines produced in Stellenbosch, and they served us many other diverse drinks. Service by the way was excellent, and very warm and nice to talk to. Our menu was just divine from the starter to the dessert with amazing sauces. The main dish was absolutely delicious and tender. We had the opportunity to meet the chef and that made our evening. They also offered us an extremely unforgettable gift and we are truly thankful for that.
My cousin told me to not forget to mention how delicious the smoked popcorn was!! We will definitely come again when we have the chance, thank you First!
