Took a taxi for 4 Euros from the train station to Fundacion Real Escuela Andaluza Del Arte Ecuestre for the horse show. A young lady at the desk held our bags for free. There is a small restaurant/cafe in the building. A ham and cheese sandwich was 4 Euros, and a Coke Light was 1.30. Sandwich was good, and the couple behind the counter were very pleasant. Don't know the name of the cafe. But it is located in the same building as the horse show. Walked through Door D and up some steps to our section/seats which were in the coffin corner at the other end of where the horses enter the ring. This location is awesome because your sight-line is toward the entrance of the horses and directly down the edge of the arena. Awesome! There are 7 rows of seats in the arena ours were on the first row, great! The horse show started at 11:04am and they took a 15 minute intermission at 11:54 and resurfaced the dirt. They came back for 30 more minutes. You may not take pictures of the horses during the show. Truly amazing.

Even if you are not an ardent ‘horsey’ person you will love the day. From the morning watching the training and apprentices working the horses to the 90 minute show we loved it. Skill of the highest calibre. A must visit when you are in Jerez.

Horse ballet! Choreography and music. Remission with sherry choices. Gift shop. Roasted nuts sugar coated. Had to park on the street but free. Right next to Sandman Bodega. Took a tour in English right after the horse show with tastings. Didn’t have to move the car. Literally right next door.

This venue is well worth the visit if you have any interest in horses.
Lots of different horse moves were demonstrated as was the impressive sequence riding. I had ordered a programme but was not able to obtain this until after the show. It would have been helpful to have it during the show. There is a dual Spanish and English brief introduction but much more of the commentary is in Spanish during the show. It lasts about two hours with a 10 minute break half way through. Good value for money. The arena is similar in size to the Spanish Riding School in Vienna. It is set in beautiful grounds and there is a gift shop and also a coffee shop near the entrance. Recommended.

We enjoyed our visit to the museums and the horse show. The show was good, they start with some of the less experienced riders and they were a little disorganized but they finish with some impressive stuff.
The carriage museum was interesting but not exceptional. The horse art museum closed only 30 minutes after the show which seemed a little strange.
