Beautiful, no crowds, amazing art and gardens. Oh... and don’t forget to eat in the gardens at the tiny restaurant and order the strawberries and chantilly. Divine.

What a surprise to find a place where you cannot just park for a couple of hours and have a look at the park outside the castle without spending 21€: 5€ per day for the parking + 8€ per person for the park. Maybe it's ok if you come for the day but we had other things to do so we didn't pay the park entrance and decided to drive to Paris without seeing anything. Still had to pay the parking though. Before paying, we thought it would be a good idea to use the bathrooms next to the cashier. But it was locked! So what do people do? They pee (or more) behind the toilets cabin as you can notice with the amount of toilet paper on the ground. What a lovely experience for 5€!
Shame on this management.

I only wish I had the full day to enjoy the castle, immaculate, including the paints, the park, and the horses museum.
You will not forget , and never regret it.

If you worry to visit near Paris, I will recommend Chantilly Castle. It takes hear from Paris for about 30 minutes. But you have to walk a few kilometers from the nearest station.
This castle itself is very beautiful and this has a good painting collections. Rafael's work is very good.
