Was there 2 times, both times - WORST ORGANISATION EVER !!! You need to wait in line for hours just to get in ...
Second time we came before the tournament just to avoid that, they had TWO counters open and after waiting for 45 min to simply get in, they said that they are closing the first one and everyone should move to the second. So After waiting 45 min and getting in front of the line, they told us to move to the BACK of the other line and wait another 45 min.
I DO NOT recommend this to anyone and will never again go myself !

Visited during the IPT and EPT poker events. At least at that time there was also good poker cash games available. Not too expensive drinks. Also healthy food options but might had been only because of the IPT/EPT, not sure.

This casino probably won't raise your blood pressure as you walk in, but if you are a poker player you should be happy.

Already had membership here as we joined on our last trip in 2014. Spent a nice hour to hour and a half on each of 4 evenings after dinner. My wife and I enjoyed it very much, especially as between us we won just over 200 Euros, over the 4 nights. No guarantees of winning, but the place is welcoming and enjoyable if you want a safe little gamble on the Roulette table or Slots. Poker room available but too scary for us!
The Casino has a restaurant, but we didn't try it. Free drinks brought around to those gambling by servers, nice touch.
Not large or flashy, like Las Vegas, but better chance of winning!!!

You want Vegas? Go to Vegas. This is Malta and the spirit of Malta is in "The Casino Portomaso". It is nicely lit, private yet open. It is relaxed, has sports bets, seating for relaxing, great bar, smoking room, slots, tables... Great all round for a good night out.
You get soft drink free and toasted sandwich if you are playing too.
Great place to come, soak up the environment and feel a little lucky?:)
Not really a strict dress code, you do need to register (passport/ID) on first visit - It is a casino, there are rules. But ask any staff there and they will help, super friendly and helpful :)
