Everything was so beautiful. The staff is very friendly and kind, especially the ones who worked in the Opal Lounge. Our room was always clean. And the food was very good every day. Overall it was a lovely experience staying in this hotel. I would love to come back!
Spent a few days here over the Christmas holiday with one of our adult kids. Fantastic property that has an amazing staff. Really lovely. Their Christmas and Christmas Eve buffets were incredible - the most amazing part being the dessert shelf that had incredible creations from their pastry chef. Great property and staff - highly recommended
I regret to say that my recent stay did not meet my expectations. I had booked a room for New Year's Eve with the intention of enjoying a peaceful evening, taking advantage of the hotel's indoor pool, and relaxing in the room. Unfortunately, the indoor pool was so cold with no heating at all, I have ended up just in the room, which was quite disappointing, especially for a hotel of InterContinental's reputation.
Additionally, I noticed that some basic amenities were missing from the room, such as a toilet brush. This was a bit of an inconvenience, as it left me wondering how I was supposed to address any cleaning needs.
Amazing staff. There are 4 in particular in the opal lounge who went above and beyond. A special shoutout to Sopo, Satya, Kumar and Arjeneive. They made me and my family feel very welcome, always had a smile on their face and nothing was ever to much to ask from them.
Also Sopo makes the perfect iced caramel latte :)
Arjeneive is the manager there, and she provides exceptional customer service. She went out her way to individually speak to us as a family, making us feel very comfortable. So thank you very much, you made our stay perfect.
We stayed at IHG Malta for a short family break over Christmas. The hotel, room, facilities and location were perfect but most of all, the staff were amazing! From reception and front of door through to room service and restaurant staff, everyone was so friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Arjeneive, Eueda, Sooo and Satya in the Opal Lounge - you made breakfast and our evening times most enjoyable - THANK YOU!
