An expansive hotel located in a central holiday resort location with a vast selection of restaurants within 10 - 15 mins walking distance. The hotel offers a wide range of bedroom categories to suit all needs. The majority offer a full or partial sea view, which should be requested. Three swimming pools, with one mainly for use with children offer ample choice for swimming. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. A plus is the ready access to the sea by several well maintained ladders or steps.
The Terrace Restaurant, which is invariably used for dinner offers Theme Menus for different days of the week. The choice is reasonable and the desserts 'to die for'.
The one negative aspect is that the service here and at the pool bar is very slow as it is in the Lobby bar. Overall, drinks are expensive. On the plus side, all the staff in all departments are most helpful and pleasant any request, whether direct or through the phone service is promptly dealt with and with good follow up. In sum, a very good hotel (maybe 4 not 5*)which families, couples or individuals would enjoy.

Room Tip: Choose a room above 4th Floor and ask for a sea view. The Bay Suites are stunning

My top recommendation for hotel in Malta, I stay here every time I visit the island if there is a room available. Close to a lot of god restaurants and far enough from the worst partying to be pleasant.

We usually seek out more quite places but decided that we will try out this Hotel for a few days so checked in yesterday. We travel extensively and not sure what other reviewers was complaining about. It has everything that you need and more. Close to night life and shopping on site and off. It is clean and well maintained for a property that see hundreds of people everyday and the staff is friendly. Private beach front, pools and restaurants for everybodies taste. I will absolutely recommend it even if people party outside the door. You are on holiday, just join in.

Have just returned from a 2 week holiday at this hotel and loved every minute of it. The hotel and it's staff are excellent and the buffet breakfast caters for every possible taste. Our room on the 6th floor was kept spotlessly clean by Daniejella and our towels and bed linen were changed daily. My only gripe concerning the room is that it smelled and felt damp, perhaps something to do with the air conditioning? The hotel has two pools, one which is directly behind the hotel and one a short walk away. The one behind the hotel is the smaller of the two, has a life guard on duty and is the one that we and other families were happier using. However, my 6 year old and the friends he made were constantly told off for playing with a ball and asked to relocate to the other pool, which is deeper and has no life guard - in my opinion this is the wrong way round. Also, the 'no inflatables' rule wasn't consistently applied as some people were using inflatable beds and got away with it, whilst infants in rubber rings were told to move on. Needs sorting out!!! Plenty of restaurants round and about and a couple of supermarkets. Didn't make it to Paceville as a short drive through late one evening was enough to put me off for life.

We are currently here with a young family and 2 nights out of 3 we have had disturbed sleep due parties outside our room that the hotel are aware of as they are weekly events. Not the best room location for a young family as the hotel is big. Spoke to reception and a Manager and customer service is poor for an American chain hotel.

Hotel and swimming pool very clean. Food has a different theme every night but good quality. First time to this hotel but not to Malta.
