I managed a just-before-closing late lunch here and the service was excellent, very accomodating.

Great ambiance, generous serve, very pleasant outlook and enjoyable lunch stop

We, a group of 10 arrived just after 2pm and they opened the kitchen and cooked us a fantastic meal. Fast service, great food.

Don’t go to the restaurant. The outdoor area is lovely. It took more than one hour for our plates to arrive. When they arrived, results were pretty disappointing. Bad steak, cold trout. The place had everything to be a very good experience but it’s not worthy of the headaches.

Reasonable variety of food, my group of 8 was all very happy with their meals. Flathead tails were very nice. Friendly owner, nice historical feel with interesting photos around the walls. hard to get to, but worth the drive

This slice of Victorian high country history is the perfect spot for a quick pit (pint) stop! We dropped by after crossing My Hotham and Falls creek today, we were welcomed by friendly staff and a warm crackling fire! The bar room is tastefully decorarated with cattle country paraphernalia, stag heads and relics of the cobungra and mitta rivers. Our group came across 2 couples who were staying in the cabins run by the pub who had been out enjoying hiking trails on holidays from Melbourne - both raving about the cosy country atmosphere of the Blue Duck. Next time we're planning a trip to the area we are booking cabins here for sure! A true gem
