We thought that we would try The three tuns again as we had not tried it for some time and friends said that it was good. The last time was very disappointing to say the least. I had a beef lasagne which was only just warm, staff were just too busy chatting to check if everything was ok...and just had a 'sorry' when plates were collected.
Husband had a steak (on steak night), but when he queried why there were no peas with it, he was told by the chef that they weren't shown on the menu! Husband said that neither were the mushrooms, chips and onion rings - so chef arrogantly said that next time he would just put the steak on the plate on it's own!!! Value customers..... not. The steak was very good, as was the beer and the gin and tonic, customer service very poor.
Went to The George up the road for desert and extra drinks....
