The town of Bacarra with its Catholic Church, partly destroyed belltower and small but excellent museum is a must visit for travellers between Laoag and Pagudpud. It is about a three kilometre deviation from the National Road.
The plaza gardens are most attractive.
Local residents take pride in their town.
Please donate to the St Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church as you visit.
