Plenty of model train sets operating make this a nice quiet little stop over when leaving the southern highlands.
I thought it could offer so much more - there was a very limited selection of food to purchase, and while the purpose of the facility is clearly to sell model railway paraphernalia, for those not quite ready to make that level of investment, there could have been a range of other opportunities.
But it was fun while it lasted, and for adult model railway enthusiasts it is Mecca.
