My wife and I have not been here since our kids ( now adults)were small. In an era of global warming etc, it was nice to see Maghera beach remained the same even after 30 years. The caves were worn away some more but still standing up to the waves. The sand is not so friendly, as it is soft a lot of the way and very hard for the rest. The pools that remain outside the caves are a magical green colour.
There is a charge of 3 Euros to park in what is really a farmyard with a small shop in a pre fab. 3 Euros in this day and age wouldn't get u
