“A huge beach to walk”

My wife and I have not been here since our kids ( now adults)were small. In an era of global warming etc, it was nice to see Maghera beach remained the same even after 30 years. The caves were worn away some more but still standing up to the waves. The sand is not so friendly, as it is soft a lot of the way and very hard for the rest. The pools that remain outside the caves are a magical green colour.
There is a charge of 3 Euros to park in what is really a farmyard with a small shop in a pre fab. 3 Euros in this day and age wouldn't get u
You a pint of beer. A wonderful place.

Beautiful beach with exotic feel! Lots of caves to explore and sandy dunes. 1 of the nicest beaches i've ever been on

We passed through Ardara and decided to visit Maghera beach and caves. It was chilly but it is such a beautiful place, easy to find, quiet with majestic scenery.

Lovely beach, tide was in so seen only one cafe but worth. No sign of being charged for parking as others mentioned but maybe it was out of season. Definitely worth a look, waterfall on the drive in is beautiful.

Is Not safe for swimming but Beautiful unspoilt beach and fabulous drive up past the assaranca waterfall.
Essential to visit when visiting ardara but make sure you have cash with you in the summer months because you will have to pay for parking but it's well worth it.
