We stayed here for just one night as we were heading back to Dublin. This place is Amazing! Helen is a wonderful hostess and very friendly. It was chilly and damp so she started a nice fire for us. After two weeks of revealing through Ireland it was nice to hang out at the house by the fireplace. My husband and I played some cards and then were joined by a very nice couple and their daughter. Breakfast was delicious. Beds were comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. Very well kept. Right across the street from Jerpoint Abbey which is amazing in itself. Would recommend to anyone. It’s about an hours drive to Waterford from here.

This B and B is directly across the road from Jerpoint Abbey. It is full of antiques and charm. Helen, the owner, is so kind and we enjoyed visiting with her. The Irish breakfast was delicious! The surroundings are peaceful and perfect for a good night sleep.

What a lovely home and a charming hostess. Abbey House is an old mill house filled with antiques, charm, and character. We loved our stay and wish it could have been longer. The room was beautiful, the view was lovely, and the breakfast! Wow! There was an abundance of food that was fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and absolutely delicious. My husband is still raving about the full rainbow trout he had. Thank you, Helen, for a delightful experience.

If you go, be sure to leave time to visit the ruins of Jerpoint Abbey, right across the street.

Room Tip: Quiet, set back from the street. We overlooked a stream and hillside covered with sheep.

My husband and I enjoyed one night stay at Abbey House. It is a little hard to find in the dark, but is is just across the road from
the real Jerpoint Abbey in Thomastown.

This is a traditional, older inn and the owner was very welcoming. We had an upstairs room with two beds, very well appointed with nice linens and a lovely bathroom.

Breakfast was fabulous, with fresh eggs, bacon and sausage.

A very nice place to stay!
