we had a lovely stroll around the park. some of the ground is uneven so not suitable for wheelchairs, but you could manage a baby stroller. lots of birds and other wildlife around, even spotted a seal poking his head up from thwe water.

We took a day trip around the Ring of Kerry and came back to Kenmare thru Reenagross Park. It was getting close to sunset. All the wildlife starting coming out and the sun started setting just as we circled around the lake looking west. It was one of the most spectacular sights of our whole 3 week trip.

Beautiful walk by the river and through the trees just minutes from Kenmares main street. The are lots of different types of plants and trees to see along the way with great views over the river. About 30-40 minutes will take you along all the paths including stops. We had the gig with us and she absolutely loved it too.

The driveway of our rental house was directly across from the side entrance to this amazing park. Such a beautiful layout of paths - one along the bayside and one along the golf course. Unbelievable amount of foliage and greenery and trees. Also runs behind the lovely Park Hotel Kenmare which is also worth a stop into if only to enjoy the tranquil hotel lobby and sitting area that looks out over the park. We walked here several times during out 1 week stay and enjoyed it thoroughly. Definitely a hidden gem.
