We have eaten in this restaurant in Sion Mills on several occasions both as a family and part of a larger group. On every occasion we have found the food to be fresh and delicious and the service to be of a high standard.
The slow cooked beef is one of the best I've had and the desserts are always fresh.
If you're traveling through the village of Sion Mills, the restaurant is located right in the middle just through the traffic lights. The building was originally a stable block and the decor and atmosphere reflect this.
The atmosphere and service are both warm and friendly and very welcoming.
Well worth a visit for lunch or dinner and highly recommended.

What a great, quaint find in the village of Sion Mills. Food and service exceptional. Stopped off today when passing through and we were not disappointed. Dont normally do trip advisor but this place deserves it. Beef dinner among the best beef dinners I have had out. Beef so tender it melts in your mouth with fab flavour. Friend had the fish & chips, tasty and a great portion. Still left room for dessert and glad we did. Lemon posset! Enough said. All homemade so I must congratulate the chef. Hardest decision was having to pick which dessert to go for. Service excellent from a very pleasant young girl. Highly recommend for food, ambience, service & quality of food. Already looking forward to my next visit.

My husband and i visited this spot on Friday night, we asked for 2 gins and on arrival to our table the young waitress had poured the tonics into the gins, this is a complete no no right from the start we were also given slim line tonic which neither of us take in our drinks. Then to the poor food i ordered fish cakes to start and my husband had chicken strip both were served cold. For mains i ordered a burger what can i say i have tasted better quality from McDonald's. My husband had the beef it was average taste and also on the cold side. The chips looked and tasted like they had been re warmed half dozen times . I paid in full for the meal but will never be back. Very disappointed. They are serving cheap produce and charging high end prices for poor service and very poor food

Wholeheartedly recommend this place. We stopped for lunch after a holiday in Fermanagh, where we’d become disillusioned with NI’s standard of eating out - so this was a refreshing surprise. The decor is tasteful, with little wooden rocking horses in reference to its history as stables. Kids were brought colouring sheets and crayons. The kids menu had proper adult food (slow cooked beef, veg and mash) alongside the typical kids fare of sausages, chicken goujons etc). Three of us had the beef, which was beautifully presented and delicious, with root veg and champ. My daughter had sausages and mash - both children’s portions were very generous. We cleaned our plates! Desserts of home made ice cream and brownies went down really well with kids. We shared the lemon posset - a generous serving of light lemon posset, ice cream and berries and the most wonderful home made pistachio biscotti.
Overall this restaurant just has a sense of quality, from the glassware to the fully home made food. Staff were friendly and attentive. If only all NI cafes were this good. Very good value too. A gem.
