Stayed 3nights in Feb and it was really good,we booked a canal facing room which was really good as we watched the barges passing the window, the staff at reception were friendly and efficient, the room was spacious with comfy bed,the restaurant was in the conservertory and the meals were delicious well cooked and a good selection both breakfast and dinner, the hotel itself is in a good location as plenty parking and you can walk along the canal bank into town.will definitely return

Booked the dirty dancing tribute night must say the cost was only £25 per person including entertainment and a three course meal. The food and show were great, really enjoyable.
Our evening was spoilt by poor bar service and expensive bar prices. The bars were poorly staffed with inexperienced staff who were struggling to cope, serving poorly pulled pints and inconsistent drinks. Prices were expensive and different each visit to the bar. On arrival we were 40 mins before we got served!
Would return if the bar issues could be resolved!

Just stopped for 2 nights at the rendezvous hotel in Skipton, had a fab weekend in a great hotel.
Watched the dirty dancing show which was fabulous and had really good dancers and singers on.
The only downside was the spirit prices £4 for a single vodka!!
The room was really nice and clean and the staff were very friendly.
I would highly recommend stopping there, but drink in Skipton

Had a wonderful stay at the Rendezvous, for one night. The hotel is fabulous and the food is to die for, had two fantastic meals plus breakfast, and could not fault any of them. Karl the restaurant manager was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for him. Had a lovely walk into to skipton down the canal path on the Sunday morning, it’s about a 20 minute walk. Skipton is really nice but didn’t get chance to explore properly. Can’t wait to come back for our next visit.

I liked this hotel. Definitely feels like an independent, not a chain; the room was huge, clean and comfortable (not keen on the décor but that's my taste - it's a hotel so who cares). The staff members were all extremely friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable and I got a good night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious, and we got a seat next to the canal so we enjoyed toast with a view. Wasn't the cheapest, but that was my fault because I initially booked a month early in error! I'd go back here, and would recommend it to others.

Room Tip: Get a canal view - quieter and better view than the industrial units and busy road on the other side.
