I love gorges and waterfalls and the Devil's Bridge is a must see. The tour starts with a good overview of the steep valley and then gets you close to the falls at a number of points. Steps are quite high at certain points, but otherwise it is well worth a visit.

Not for the feint hearted, 600 steps up and down , Jacobs ladder quite steep, well worth a visit, take it easy and have a rest break every so often. It was stunning .

The rain started to pour half way round but it was worth it, not for the unfit or faint hearted, walking shoes essential. Such breathtaking scenery and waterfalls, steeps in history, fab time had by all.

Decided to see what the fuss was about, so on a cold damp rainy day we parked up over the road. Paid our 3 quid odd each to get in, (additional 50P for a guide) we were told to take our time in the damp weather on Jacobs ladder as it was steep. This is a nice little wander through some woods with excellent views of the valley beyond. Beware though as this is not an easy walk. both going down and up again is pretty tough in places with some bigs steps involved. So if you dont have a reasonable level of fitness this may take you a while to complete. The falls were fantastic, plenty of water gushing over the top. Great noise. All in all it is certainly worth doing even though it does cost a little money.

I'm pleased to hear that the waterfall was nice and full for your visit. I agree the walk is challenging for some people so we recommend that visitors do take their time and enjoy the scenery too. Thank you for your review.

There is a small fee to enter the Devil's Bridge Falls but it's worth it for the maintenance and being kept clean! A beautifully constructed walkway through the forest with scenic views of the hills and waterfalls with numerous resting points.

This is not for the faint-hearted as some of the steps are steep especially Jacob's ladder, however you can walk up to the viewing point and turn back.

Would suggest at fast pace it can be walked in 45 minutes; on average 60-75 minutes or a nice casual pace around 90 minutes + depending on how many times you want to stop and take in the scenery.

Went off-peak so car park was free but do check the website for costs. There is a few free car park places about 100 yards before the entrance. They sometimes have special offers of 20% off plus discounts for students and pensioners.

Would not necessarily recommend this for very young children and suggest you have appropriate footwear for the rugged terrain.

You've written a very helpful review; thank you. Our attraction car park ( the one nearest the bridge ) is always free as is parking up at The Woodlands Caravan Park just up the road. The train station does charge visitors to park but I think the money goes to air ambulance. Thank you for visiting.
