We stayed in one of the floating cottages and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, we came during rainy season, but the room and grounds were lovely. Very clean and hot water was not an issue. There were some connectivity issues with wifi though, but didn't matter to us. The bathroom was beautiful. Massages were quite good. Breakfast was okay, but for the high price tag I would expect more selection and more options for vegetarians. Location-wise, not exactly in the very heart of General Luna, but still on the main drag and easy enough to catch a cheap tricycle to all of the popular bars and spots in General Luna. Would definitely recommend this place if you're okay with spending a little more coin.

Upon arriving, it was clear that the resort would be enjoyable and safe. I was met with great friendliness, hospitality, and service...not to mention the complimentary bottle of "Siargao Rum".

I arrived early in the morning, way before check-in time but had plans to go caving and swimming at the rock pools, so I left my stuff, changed into swimming gear and was told that my belongings would be safe with them and brought to my room as soon as it was ready.

The food and drinks at the resort were at resort prices but reasonable.

The room was clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and soap came in refillable organic containers to satisfy their advocacy of sustainable tourism.

The front office had information on high and low tides so that the visitor can plan efficiently their water activities. This helped a lot because my tour guide had different information on the tides. We were able to enjoy the sights well and had out activities timed exactly.

Allan, the concierge, was completely reassuring about the day, the weather, and my room. He offered me towels without me asking, filled up my water bottle (also sustainable... ), and offered my advise on surfing.

The restaurant staff was very accommodating with my requests and delivered quickly.

Also, when the power tripped (as it happens in an island dependent on external power sources), the staff promptly attended to a mis-start of the airconditioning unit in my room.

The resort is safe and quiet and one of the nicest things to do there is to sit by the bar in one of their comfy lounge chairs and listen to the waves lapping at the beach.

All-in-all, despite it being a little pricey, it's a resort one can come back to. It is close to other resorts and bars where parties are held and one can rest assured that a return to the resort after a night of partying will result in peace and quiet.

It's rare for me to post reviews of properties as it’s my impression people tend to use forums such as Tripadvisor to nitpick, however I want to use this forum to rave about our recent stay at Siargao Bleu. We just returned to the States from Siargao (December 8-17). The island of Siargao is absolutely magical and it has the mystique of Bali 20+ years ago, each day was a new adventure and our stay at Siargao Bleu made this trip so incredibly memorable.

Based on my work travels, my wife and I have been fortunate to visit beautiful resorts and exotic locales worldwide and while I could go on and on about Siargao natural beauty (surf, island hopping, etc...) it is important to know why Siargao Bleu is worth visiting beyond the stunning landscape. Siargao Bleu team members and staff provide a world class operation at its finest and make you feel as if you are a family member as opposed to a tourist and it is this which truly sets Siargao Bleu apart. It is incredibly rare in today’s world where resort employees go above and beyond to make you feel as if you are not just another tourist but make you feel as if you are part of the family.

Siargao Bleu set the bar incredibly high and for someone who considers themselves high maintenance when it comes to travel I want to personally thank Alan Magaluna and Jazz (Best Bartender in Siargao) at Karagatan Restaurant at Siargao Bleu for going above and beyond to make my wife's birthday (50th) so incredibly memorable.

We had a fantastic time at the resort. The rooms were great and the service was amazing. Everybody was so very helpful and nice. We especially had a great time going to Kawhagan Island and Sugba Lagoon outing. Our guide was amazing and took care of all the details from top to bottom. I want to give a shout out to our guide Brandon who also assisted us after the tour with other things we needed. We highly recommend this resort to anybody that is looking to have a great time in Siargao.
