Following the recommendation by one of our younger family members we had some take-out from Mang Inasal today. We went for two kinds of chicken, spicy and non-spicy, marinated with BBQ sauce and grilled over charcoal. While the non-spicy chicken was ok, the spicy kind hat third-degree burns on the outside but was still bloody on the inside, which is not only disgusting but also dangerous. This didn't leave much to eat for those of us who had opted for spicy, especially when you consider that Mang Inasals chicken seem to be raised on a rigorous diet which doesn't allow them to put much meat on their bones.
The rice that came with it had no flavor at all. So, all in all this was not something we are likely to try again, and said family member has not done much to improve his reputation as food expert.
