Stayed here for a night. We got here early around 10:30am and the room was not ready yet. We went around the area and had lunch before coming back again to check-in but the room was still not ready. The front desk staff was very accommodating and offered us a wash up room while waiting for our room to be ready. Service was great. Breakfast is ok. Swimming pool is ok but very cold and the the hotel has a very simple gym. Overall, i still recommend the hotel.

Stayed with our family of 8 last Dec. 26-28, 2017. Weather was great and relaxing! Check-in was a breeze. Service, esp at the Beach House was super great (esp John Lloyd, Vince...)! Staff was super helpful and nice!! Breakfast is so delicious!!! Each dish tasted great, esp the champorado & suman. Very relaxing dip in the pool. Great to walk / laze around the lobby, the poolside, the boardwalk. Thing that needs improvement - the Caisita de Bahia - aircons were dripping all night, and they couldn't fix it all the nights we stayed. They just put towels on the floor. In another room, at 2am, aircon just clogged up and sprayed water around the room. Definitely, Caisita needs improving! Otherwise, it was such a relaxing stay at Costa Pacifica. Would love to go back when the aircon is fixed.... Thank you, Mark Mabanag, for the warm welcome & great service!!

Stayed with family from Dec28-30 and we booked for casitas de Bahia that can accommodate our group of 10.

Plus:
1. Checkin was good, we were checked in at around 1pm even though the standard time is 2pm
2. Pools in both main lobby and casitas were clean and suitable for kids
3. They honoured senior citizen discount both on rooms and resto
4. They have in house massage that you can request for 600 pesos room service.
5. Staffs were polite and respectful but need more training on how to be more efficient

Minus:

1. Menus at the beach house resto were overpriced. We reserved a table for dinner for ala carte order and most of request were not available. Sisig was overrated it’s like pork fats rolled in oil and put in a sizzling plate. Bagnet was not crispy and you can see the oil dripping from it. Longanisa pizza and hawaian pizza were average as well, kids did not like them.
2. Orders took forever to be served, it took us 5 plus follow ups to bring the fish fillet which we requested to be served first since we have kids to be fed.
3. Rooms from casitas were old. No available bath towels so they provided the pool towels instead.
4. Toiletries and complimentary water were not complete we were 4 adults in the room and they always put 2 sets, need to request additional sets always.
5. No wifi at the casitas...but they said there was..tried to connect but unsuccessful. Wifi at the main lobby was Super slow....

If will be asked if I will be back, hmmm, probably not as the travel time going to Baler and checking in to costa is not worth it, there could be more resort in region 3 or in the south that’s more accessible and value for money.

Half of menu unavailable, food average to poor.
Sisig like warm blubber on a warm plate.
Pizza ok but ham and longanisa pizza sweet.
Nice location but very noisy.
Very little shade on outside.
Didn’t enjoy the place.

Couldn't find a fault with anything, everything was perfect during our 2-night stay at this resort starting with our great choice of the Junior Premiere Suite which provided my family a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean & the Sierra Madre Mountains, the pool and the beautifully landscaped garden-all these we enjoyed from our room's veranda. Starting your morning with a great view uplifts your spirit which makes you become more grateful for our Creator's blessings. Hence, I'd highly recommend the Junior Premiere Suite when you visit Costa! Good food as well, the breakfast buffet included a great selection of food, certainly delicious and gives one good value for money. I cannot forget the great service exhibited by the entire resort staff from the front desk crew (special mention to Abi and Eunice from Reservations-my family's request for late check-out was granted and request for pick-up of my daughter's birthday cake from a nearby Dialyn's Bakeshop was also accommodated); the Housekeeping staff who attended to our requests for stuff promptly (towels, toiletries, plastic bags); special mention also goes to Julius (the Assistant F&B Manager) who surprised us with a birthday cake slice sent to our hotel room, Edson, John Loyd & Olynne - these were the people who gave their service always with all smiles, making us feel that they were happy serving us.If I may add, my daughter's birthday celebration last Nov 13th was something memorable, the venue (dinner at the gazebo with family & friends, our group totaling to 8 people) was perfect and so with the bbq dinner buffet. Also, my daughter with her friends certainly enjoyed surfing at the Sabang Beach which is right across Costa. In totality, we had a lovely time in this resort and I'll certainly recommend Costa Pacifica to family & friends.
