This well established hotel was once known as a special place to visit. Nowadays it has unfortunately lost it's glamour and become just average. The pool had green sediment on the base, our toilet flush only half worked, the low upper terrace wall, over which was a steep fall, with the "Do Not Climb" sign, was useless with respect to an active 3 year old or any other child who could easily slip over the brick wall.
The food for dinner was not particularly pleasant but the wait service by the Manager was exemplary as he rushed around doing the type of jobs a waiter would normally do.
The worse aspect was being waken between 2.30am and 3am by metal trolley like noises outside our room (adjacent to the pool area) and then having loud clanking noises. On looking through the window, there was a man in a suit walking around adjusting all the metal sun lounger chairs, scaping them into place and clanking the head rests up. Our family had two adjacent rooms booked and both sets of occupants were waken by the noise.
Unfortunately we wont be visiting this hotel again.
