It was lovely anniversary get away. We had river view room which was very comfortable . We had dinner and breakfast and compliment to chef and front of house staff, especially FB MANAGER Amit was great , very attentive and helpful .

Reasonably accessible room, albeit for normal-sized power and manual wheelchairs. Noisy when a function is on (we had a wedding). My big van was too high for car park, so reception allowed me to park outside main motel entry door. Many items beyond reach e.g. aircon control, etc.

My husband and I are staying at the Tradewinds for 2 nights on the way back from a Singapore holiday and we couldn’t be more impressed. The staff are friendly and the burgers we had in the restaurant are the best we’ve ever eaten! Big shout out to Alvin and Grace in the bistro and Mark who checked us in a 1.30am yesterday. I can highly recommend the Tradewinds to anyone visiting Fremantle.

From the start: reception friendly warm and offered upgrade, early checkin, drinks voucher! Felt so well looked after. Room service for dinner on wet blustery night in a splendid apartment.

Came with friends for the quiz night.
We decided to order dinner. My friend and i both ordered the falafel burger. It’s a pity i didn’t take a photo (can’t use phones while quiz is going on) but when the burger arrived i asked my friends “where the lettuce?”. I opened the burger to see what was in it aside from the falafel, to find only a little onion and i guess mayo. No lettuce, tomato, pickles or anything you’d expect to find in a burger. $24 for an extremely dry falafel in a bun. It came with chips. The chips were good, i should have simply ordered a bowl of chips. Also came with a side of aioli which i can inly assume was vegan since it came with a vegan burger. My friend and i both spread the chip aioli over our falafels just to be able to get it down it was so dry. I also couldn’t enjoy my cocktail which was mostly ice and not worth the $20 as i had to use it to help swallow my burger. My friend suggested asking for our money back but i’ve never sent food back before.
Also, there was no table service. For the price in the menu, and it presents itself as a higher end establishment, there should be table service. Ordering food at the counter took too long as the staff were slow. The staff need more training. As i said, it presents itself as a higher end establishment but the staff don’t match in the service.
The quiz night was fun and i will probably go again but I’d definitely never order the falafel burger again. I think i’ll just stick with a bowl of chips next time.

I have discussed your comments with our Chef and she made immediate changes to ensure the burger is served at top quality. As you might have noticed, we do have a very large number of guests arriving at the same time for the quiz night, therefore we can not attend everyone at the same time. We do have QR codes at most tables to ensure the wait time can be reduced and every orders can be processed quickly. We do have a quiz at every first Thursday of the month.
