Ate here last night and went for the 6 course tasting menu with matching wines. My wife is a pescatarian and she mentioned this when making the reservation so the chef had planned a fish based alternative to the standard tasting menu. The food - perfectly executed dishes based on local ingredients- service, selection of wines were all excellent and I couldn’t recommend this enough for a special occasion. It’s pricey but in line with what you would expect for the quality on offer and clearly this restaurant and chef are destined for highly deserved recognition by Michelin very soon.
Will definitely come back here next time we’re in the Lake District.
