Overall, I liked this hotel a lot. The rooms are quite spacious and clean. However, they are beginning to show their age. My room had a fair number of scuffs and scrapes, and a cigarette hole in the couch. Not much effort seems to have been taken to deal with this kind of wear and tear.
The location, though, is great. The hotel is away from the main part of the city so you will find yourself right next to some great hiking opportunities.
Breakfast each morning is a massive buffet of mostly western items, along with a few Korean staples. Note that if you have more than two guests in your room you will have to pay an extra 20000 won each for access. That seems a bit steep.
It is worth mentioning that this place seems to host a lot of events. They can get noisy. To avoid this, request a room without a mountain view.More
